School Programs

This year’s Bluenose Ghosts Festival is going to be bigger and better than ever!  For 2009 we’ve added an exciting element for educators to help connect their students with the stories and themes of Helen Creighton’s Bluenose Ghosts. This new school program will include a curriculum linked activities package for teachers to incorporate classroom learning with your on site experience at the festival.

Visit the illuminated sculptures of Helen Creighton’s most well known stories, tour one of Dartmouth’s oldest cemeteries with some spooky guides and get a sneak preview of the thrills and chills in this year’s Haunted House.

Combining history, art, theatre and the fun of Halloween the 2009 Bluenose Ghosts Festival school program is sure to be popular, reserve space for your class today!

Alderney Landing will be open for pre-arranged school group visitation from 10am—2pm on Tuesday, October 13th and Wednesday October 14th, 2009.

Alderney Landing is located at 2 Ochterloney Dr. in Dartmouth, NS
